A growing court reporting firm in Southfield is looking for help in the office. The position available is an office assistant with such job duties as answering phones, filing, data entry, scanning, production, et cetera. This is a full-time position. Get a behind-the-scenes look at what is involved in freelance court reporting.

COVERAGE NEEDED

Looking for court reporters who are willing to cover for Circuit Court during maternity leave. Coverage needed mostly Tuesdays through Thursdays for trials in Traverse City the month of September, possibly the last week of August and the first week of October. Wisconsin's Second Judicial District


Applications are now being accepted for an Official Court Reporter in Racine County Circuit Court, Branch 2, for Judge Eugene Gasiorkiewicz. This full-time position is available in August. Realtime proficiency is preferred but not required.

Candidates must meet one of three minimum professional standards to be considered eligible for hire: (1) Graduation from a court reporting school approved by either the National Court Reporters Association (NCRA) or the National Verbatim Reporters Association (NVRA), or (2) Successful completion of the Registered Professional Reporter (RPR) examination administered by the NCRA, or (3) Successful completion of the Certified Verbatim Reporter (CVR) examination administered by the NVRA. Salary is based on qualification level and previous court reporting experience. Full time employees are eligible for the State of Wisconsin benefits package, including a retirement program; optional health, life and disability insurance; plus paid vacation, sick leave, personal days and holidays.
